Namaskar friends, let's talk about the politics of Karnataka
what's happening in Karnataka and how is it affecting the democracy of the country.
Recently on 15th may, Karnataka State election results were declared
where the results of 222 seats were declared
for any party to come in the power and make their government, they need to cross the majority which is 112 seats in this case.
BJP got 104 seats, Congress, 78 seats, JDS, which is Janta Dal Secular, a Karnataka state's regional party got 38 seats.
none of these parties could cross 112 and on 15th May around 5 PM, congress got to know that none of the party would cross 112
hence, congress went to JDS seeking alliance to get on the power together
78+38, together will reach 116 which will be quite more than the 112 majority mark.
so, congress and JDS took an early decision of alliance however BJP was the single largest party with 104 seats, still was quite far from the majority mark of 112 seats.
2 seats are with the other parties and even if BJP includes that then too it will not be able to reach the majority mark!
so friends, in any state, after the election if any party comes into the power and makes the government then it goes through the governor.
A state Governor decides to invite a party to create the Government.
In our case, Vajubhai Vala is the governor of the Karnataka state
instead of inviting JDS and Congress, Vajubhai Vala first invited BJP to create the Government
inspite of knowing that BJP doesn't have the required number of MLAs to reach the majority mark!
so, Vajubhai gave 15 days to Congress to prove it's majority
There will be a floor test after 15 days and MLA's will raise their hands to vote for BJP or something else on that basis BJP will be able to create it's Government.
People have outraged here because they know that BJP doesn't have enough MLA's , so how will they bring more MLAs?
This is only possible when they will buy Congress or JDS's MLA
or threaten them to not vote during the majority test!
This is not clearly defined in the constitution for the governor to first invite the single largest party or an alliance made after the election
crossing the majority mark together.
so, actually it's a Governor's own will.
but I would like to ask you this question
What do you think, a single largest party should be invited or an alliance made after the election?
Pause the video for 2 secs and write your views in the comment.
If you say that the single largest party should be invited then it's totally wrong what happened in Goa, Manipur and Meghalaya.
because Congress was at the majority but as Governor invited BJP first, BJP came into the power by alliances with other parties.
and if you say that it was wrong what happened in Goa, Manipur and Meghalaya and alliance should be invited first
then, whatever is happening in Karnataka is wrong
it can't happen that BJP is given both the chances accordingly by the Governor
so this is wrong.
In 2014, when Modi's Government came into the power they changed all the state's Governor and hence these Governors are now questionable.
Karnataka's Governor, Vajubhai vala was has been a member of RSS, BJP and when Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujarat he was one of the minister too
hence, their reputation is questionable and looking at all this it seems like a biased way of decision making.
Friends those who made our constitution had given a lot of power to the post of a governor
they thought eminent personalities preferably non- political people would be elected for the post of the Governor.
those will respect the principles of democracy and constitution
However, unfortunately after 70 years of the independence, a Governor's post is exploited thereby mocking the democracy
In the country, a governor's post is used to pressurise the elected Government of the state
This is happening in Karnataka and in Delhi inspite of winning 67 seats Aam Aadmi Party is not able to take independent decisions
the governor over there keeps blocking every decision
The same story can be heard from the Union territory Pondicherry and you already know the scenario of the larger states
all the Governpr's now take BJP's side
Now, let's again move on the question of who should be invited first? The single largest party of the alliance made after the election
Friends, you won't believe that both the parties BJP and Congress have not stayed on their words in this regards
Last year Chidambaram from Congress tweeted, .....
So, Brother Chidambaram, now your party stood second in Karnataka, so even you don't have the rights to make your Government.
so, either you create the commotion then or now, both can't be right here.
and the same story goes for BJP as well
Arun Jaitley tweeted a year ago,....
so, Arun jaitleyji if you say that the Governor should have invited the coalition, then you were correct and now in Karnataka what is happening is wrong.
Now should you raise the voice for the wrong!
Both the parties only raise their voice when it's something for their own benefit
None of them stayed on their words.
Still, consider that the single largest party is invited and they looked for an alliance and get into the power, then there's nothing wrong here.
but what's happening in Karnataka is that BJP has no party to make an alliance
so where will they the MLAs from?
Here friends, something very wrong and undemocratic is happening
and it's a fraud with the people.
When BJP's general secretary was asked in an interview of Times Now,
that from where will you bring the 8 MLAs to prove the majority?
and he replied, "HAHAHA, we have Amit Shah"
Look at the shamelessness of people, even they know that there's no other way to get the MLAs
It's not a miracle that with a swap of the finger 8 MLAs will fall down from the sky!
From JDS or Congress only these MLAs will be included.
either they will be bought or threaten to not vote here.
A JDS ' MLA even claimed that he got a 100 crore offer from BJP to shift to their party
You might be wondering how can BJP offer such an amount and offer 100 crore rupees!
but friends for a billionaire person there's no point to talk in less than a 100 crore!
As a fun fact I would like to tell you that
All the MLAs who are elected in the Karnataka's election out of them 97% are crorepati already!
Congress has 99% Billionaire MLAs , 98% in BJP and 95% in JDS
This was researched by an ADR report
So to buy these Billionaire MLAs what do you think, can someone talk in less than 100 crores?
They can't be bought in 1 crore rupees!
hence such a big amount is been invested here.
on the other hand, Congress collected all their MLAs and shifted them to a resort so that they are not contacted by BJP
and is not able to buy them
This is such a shame for Congress party that they have to lock their MLAs in a resort so that no outsider is able to buy them.
so there's no ideology in your party which can keep your people united?
there's no though that can keep them together?
Each of your MLA has a price tag, that anyone can come and buy them?
if you don't protect them.
This is a very shameful thing.
Governor Vajubhai has even done a very shameless act by giving Congress 15 days to prove their majority
deliberately such a long time is issued so as to give enough time to BJP to carry on their negotiation of buying and selling MLAs.
Today, that is on 17th May when I'm making the video Yeddyurappa is been appointed as the chief minister by Governor.
and you know friends what are the foremost decisions taken by Yeddyurappa?
He transferred many police officers, anti corruption bureau, this was expected if you watched this video of mine
how when a new Government takes charge they transfer the police officers, IAS officer, IPS officers and appoint their puppets.
through this the police force is such made that they work according to the government
and after this the police security of the resort where Congress MLAs were staying was removed by Yedyurappa.
and friends, the most shameless thing is being circulated on social media that
through BJP members and BJP supporters
they say that this is a revenge taken against Congress
this is Karma revolving against Congress
because Congress has even misused MLAs in 1996 and the same event had occurred.
This is whataboutism game been played here and making people a fool
If Congress used to do this then even you will do it?
so what's the point of voting for you, why do you call yourself A party with a difference when you are going to repeat the same what Congress has done!
Why are we voting for you, we could have voted for Congress itself.
Tomorrow you can even justify your corruption saying we are doing it as even Congress used to do.
We are taking a revenge as we are doing it.
This won't work, people of the country are not fool, they are watching everything.
Friends today that is 18 May, I began editing this video and amidst that a very big news has come from the Supreme court
whatever was the situation here, Congress has landed in the Supreme court about it.
they say that it's going wrong against us.
Supreme test has decided that the Floor test which was going to take place after 15 days will now happen tomorrow itself.
that is on 19th May, at 4 PM
where all the MLAs will prove which party are they with and which party gets the majority.
This is a good decision because two weeks given by the Governor for floor test would have encouraged BJP to negotiate with the MLAs and buy them
and since it's going to happen tomorrow this will reduce the chance of horse trading.
still the chances are there
however one more decision the supreme court has taken that tomorrow's voting won't happen on the basis of the secret ballot.
that means any MLA who is voting for the party for majority will be seen by all openly
that which party's MLA is voting for whom.
Through this even we will get to know that if any Congress or JDS MLA is voting for BJP then somewhere something he has been offered to do so.
as within one day his mind can't change.
so it's going to be very interesting to watch
It's going to be the climax of the games of Thrones finally.
Let's see what will happen tomorrow.
So friends Share this video and spread the truth among the people
so that everyone get to know how the democracy is been mocked in our country
