Whenever she used to take her children to hospital for treatment, then she used to be sent back beaten.

This is India of 2018!

Don't know why I can't forget that mother's face today.

That mother who had two sons. One 22 years old son and the other one 16 years.

and today both of the sons are not alive.

You  know why? Because both of them lost to malnutrition.

Malnutrition

Can you even imagine that 16 years or 22 years old can get malnourished?

This Incident is from a village, jungle Kidhkiya of Khushinagar from Uttar pradesh.

Even after their death, both the boys are not getting the status that they deserve.

I'm standing at North block and South block.  On my right is North block and South block where Prime Minister's office is situated and also Rashtrapati Bhavan on top of it.

On my left as you see it's the Parliament.

That Parliament where legislation are made.

That parliament where policies are made for you and me.

But that lady who lost her 16 years old and 22 years old. Had this Parliament, this government has thought about her?

because she's saying that my children lost to malnutrition but this Government says that they died due to TB.

Government is not ready to count malnutrition

I met this lady at the village of Khushinagar

Let's listen to the mother who has lost both of her sons?

Jungle Khirkia is showing us the reality, infront of me is this mother who has lost her children aged just 22 years old and 12, sorry 16 years old.

22 years old and 16 years old and both of them dies due to malnutrition.

Amma Can you tell us what happened?

and the thing that I'm going to tell you, may it will make some of you laugh.

Do you what were the names of the sons of this mother?

Her elder son's name was Feku and her younger sons name was Pappu

You might think that I'm joking.

Elder son's name was Feku and younger sons name was Pappu.

Yes, Delhi's Feku and Pappu are into politics but Khushinagar's Feku and Pappu died due to Government

Do they used to be ill since a long time?

What work they used to do? were they labourers? Do they used to work?

Tell us has any one come to you? any government officer? Because now some people are seen, some Government vehicles are seen had anyone come to your house earlier to ask you?

No one?

That means they never had fever, It was just the lack of food?

But the Government is saying it's TB, it was fever.

Okay you didn't get the government reports?

So you see there are two types of work in this country, two types of arrangement for Feku and Pappu too.

One Feku and Pappu who sits here in this Parliament and another Feku and Pappu who dies at Khushinagar because they don't even get food to eat.

Are you listening to this mother's plight that whenever they used to fall sick and visit the doctors then they used to be shoved out.

And now even after their death they are not given the status they deserve because the Government is not ready to accept that these deaths are due to malnutrition and it is said that it's due to TB

and you can see in this village, literally TB related posters are stuck.

Suddenly government has woken up. This incident is not only questioning the bad society but also on the governance, Government.

Have you heard that mother even said that whenever they used to go for the treatment then they were beaten up and sent back.

This is the India of 2018?

and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is saying that no, these deaths are due to TB.

I have death certificate, you can see this death certificate it says Pulmonary Koch

Now in medicinal term Pulmonary Koch means TB that is the sickness that these kids had was Pulmonary Koch which is TB

But I would like to ask a question to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

Can you say this with sure that TB doesn't happen due to malnutrition?

Many of you will be doctors, you may know that there are many reasons for malnutrition and two of them are when you don't get enough nutrition and the other when your immunity is low.

So when Yogi Adityanath says that these kids dies due to TB and not malnutrition then somewhere he's being unfair to this woman.

and I would also like to salute the courage of that woman, two of her kids dies, her world is broken but even today she is standing

Her milk had dried up long back today her tears of eyes have also dried up due to this Government.

Her tears have dried because this government is not even ready to accept the reason for deaths.

and do you know, as soon as they both died Uttar Pradesh Government arranged a fair in that village

and started giving gas, stove to all the people in the village

One such village which was forgotten by all the Governments since many years, now after these two deaths gas, stoves are been given.

These pictures are the proof of that and you know what is the most shameful thing here?

Literally posters of TB has been stuck all over the village.

to show that these deaths are due to TB

But Once more I am asking the question, you want to hide the accounts of malnutrition

You want to hide the reason for deaths

You want to your neck like the Ostrich but that won't change the reality.

Can you say this with sure that these deaths are due to only TB?

and Can you tell me the reason for this TB?

Come Let's see one more part of this report of mine that how the Government woke up now after these two deaths.

The biggest problem is when the Governments deny to accept the truth.

You can see, small posters of TB has been put up all over this Jungle Kirkiya village

Government is trying to show that these two deaths are not due to malnutrition but TB.

Such kind of posters you can see everywhere.Even here it's about TB saying how to be away from TB, what to do and what not.

and as we have seen these two deaths had made Government wake up from it's sleep.

and now they are distributing gas there

Yes, this village which was completely out of Government's mind now that village has secured a place due to two deaths.

what could be even worse than this?

that the Governments wakes up after the deaths.

the one that wakes up from sleep is incomplete in some way

Dastak Mohim has been started by Yogi sarkar, has anyone come here?

No sir, no one has come

and since these deaths have occurred due to malnutrition has any changes been seen in the village?

Yes, lots of movement is seen since 3-4 days, people are coming and going If they would have given earlier then they both would have not died.

would have not died due to malnutrition. Yes sir.

Has ever any Government officer, any politician or minister has come in this village?

No sir, never has anyone come  here Neither any doctor comes nor any politician.

Not even to explain us anything

Yes mother tell us, what worries you regarding kids?

two people died due to malnutrition and even here no government employee is coming regarding Dastak

Now they are coming earlier no one came?

Yes yes

After the death of malnutrition. Yes  after the death of two people, they have started coming since the last 5 days.

and tell what worries you regarding kids those who are roaming like this?

Government fears that this should not lead to any bad image and then they work but this incident from Jungle Kirkiya village is explaining us the reality.

I know that you has started the Nutrition abhiyan in Jhunjhunu Modiji.

But today In Uttar Pradesh where you have your Government, where you have more than 300 seats where two boys named Feku and Pappu both dies.

Their mother is questioning us, Today that mother is asking us for justice.

and if we ignore her today then there won't be any injustice bigger than this with the humanity.

There can't be a bigger injustice than this.

There's an India like this too in 2018

But there's another India too which we have forgotten.

I've not forgotten and today I take this oath that I will not forget and I will go to such people again and again, raise their voices because till their voices are not raised this government can't be questioned.

Questions on this Government's work can't be raised.

Because we have seen many Jumle  (talks) now let's talk about the work too.

We spoken alot about our mind now let's also talk about that mother's heart too.

That mother whom we have forgotten, That mother's face I could have not forgotten
